New Features

Sidebar Design

The sidebar has gotten a dramatic redesign. We’ve removed quite a bit of content that was reduntant and cluttering up the user experience. Users now have a clean, simple sidebar to utilize that still takes them where they need to be. Please note that account settings and help are no longer in the user dropdown in the sidebar. They are now located at the bottom of the sidebar. While the sidebar may be simpler, it has two new tricks. There is now a Recently Viewed link that will display the objects that have been most recently viewed. We’ve also introduced bookmarks which are covered in more detail below.

Bookmarks

There is now a section in the sidebar that houses a user’s bookmarks. Many internet users have most likely heard of browser bookmarks, which save a specific web url for future visiting. Collectrium bookmarks follow the same principal. A user can create a desired list of objects based on specific filters and sorting. They can then save this specific configuration in a bookmark for future use. In order to create a bookmark from your custom list, click the Bookmark icon that can be found next to the list title at the top or your page. Give the bookmark a name and its ready to go; It’ll show up in your sidebar.

Activities

Collectrium supports many different transactions and all those transactions are now considered an Activity, which can be found in the new sidebar. Clicking on Activities will bring the user to a list of all transactions. Users can then filter and sort those activities to find what they need (and make a bookmark!).

Gift Transaction

Speaking of transactions; we’ve added the Gift transaction.

System Improvements

Topbar Design

The topbar also gets a bit of a facelift with this release. We’ve once again removed a bit of clutter and moved towards a cleaner layout with more functionality. Users will find certain filtering options that used to be in the sidebar are now in the topbar for relevant pages.

Object Page Speed

The object page gets a big performance boost with this release. The initial loading of individual object pages should be quite noticeably faster as well as the amount of time it takes to add or edit object information.

Bug Fixes

Many bug fixes were made this release. Notable among them:

• A bug that prevented the location history field from updating after a location change has been fixed.
• A bug was preventing users from deleting sale invoices in certain cases. This has been fixed.
